Top 3 Favorite Restaurants In New Orleans

New Orleans is one of my favorite cities when it comes to food! We had such an amazing time there checking out the Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, etc. The southern food that we had there was incredible.

Here are 3 of our favorite restaurants in New Orleans:

Deanie’s Seafood

Located in the Bourbon Street's area, this seafood restaurant is well known for its Crawfish. But my most favorite dish there is the BBQ Shrimp. At first I thought this is just a bunch of shrimp with BBQ dipping sauce, but that's not the case at all. This New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp should be on everyone's agenda when it comes to seafood in New Orleans and at Deanie's Seafood restaurant. Just watch out, this tasty finger food can get messy!

Acme Oyster House

This is yet another restaurant that has seafood. It's also located in the busy Bourbon Street and not too far from the Deanie's Seafood restaurant. You will notice that there's always line outside of this place. My words of advice is, go early during lunch/dinner when everyone is not thinking about food yet. Although this restaurant's name suggests Oyster, they have other New Orleans dishes such as Gumbo, Jambalaya, etc. all are delicious.

Mother's

The Mother's restaurant is situated outside of the French Quarter, but it's still within walking distance from there. If Po-Boy sandwich is on your food list to try in New Orleans, then head over to Mother's. The meat cut there is thick and juicy, yet incredible! It's a small place, so plan strategically as the queue can be super long during busy time.
